The Payroll Officer is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies, labor legislation, tax regulations, and statutory requirements. The role supports employee compensation administration and maintains payroll records while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Funções
- Process monthly payroll for all employees and contractors.
- Verify timesheets, attendance records, overtime, leave balances, and payroll adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory deductions.
- Prepare payroll reports for management review.
- Maintain employee payroll records and confidential personnel information.
- Coordinate with HR regarding new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and support audits.
- Manage employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure timely submission of tax, pension, social security, and other statutory payments.
- Support payroll system updates and data integrity checks.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional payroll certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of payroll administration experience.
- Previous experience within the Oil & Gas, Mining, Construction, or Industrial sector is preferred.
- Payroll software proficiency.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of labor legislation and taxation requirements.
- Financial reporting and reconciliation skills.
