Position: IT Support Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-demand technical support and resolve issues within defined SLA timelines
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and high availability
  • Work closely with software developers to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues
  • Support and monitor API integrations
  • Troubleshoot API errors, authentication failures, and integration issues
  • Assist in testing and validating new system features and deployments
  • Automate repetitive operational and support tasks where possible
  • Perform minor software development and scripting tasks as assigned
  • Escalate critical incidents and ensure timely resolution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or related technologies)
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and API testing tools such as Postman
  • Experience with MySQL and database management systems
  • Experience with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues for technical and non-technical users
  • Knowledge of system monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
