Heading is looking for his client , a Datacom Engineer (M/F) for Maputo
Activities:
- Support MPLS network maintenance, analyze network performance, resolve complex network problems, and optimize network architecture.
- To install, Configure, troubleshoot, rectify, restore and upgrades, manage alarms, investigating fault in the MPLS network.
- Act as the datacom technical personnel, with good knowledge of technical solutions, designs, work as a team player with other domains, customers and other 3rd parties.
- Handles datacom network Change Management, performance & optimization through O&M and Performance Management processes.
- Carry out daily/weekly/monthly network maintenance operations and upgrading tasks needed in limiting the impact on the production network.
- Troubleshooting and resolving both basic and advanced transport layer multiple problems features and application of complex routing policies. configure and support large-scale production and network infrastructure with routers, switches.
- Impacting knowledge, team development, strong learning and understanding skills, communication and possess strong leadership skill to team.
- Ensure daily, weekly, Monthly MPLS/datacom equipment Network Utilization and performance are optimally check and improved.
- Work independently daily with minimal supervision, manage stakeholders, and take informed decisions
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Good knowledge of MPLS L2VPN and L3VPN-
- Good knowledge of Routing protocol ( OSPF, ISIS).
- Vast knowledge of Enterprise MPLS, BGP etc.
- Highly skills in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP principles, IPRAN, IPCORE and familiar with network protocols such as BGP/MPLS/OSPF/IP/MPLS.
- Deep understanding and experience in product delivery or maintenance service: Router, switches, WLAN, firewall.
- Update Solution document, HLD, DLD, LLD along with Network Diagram.
- Good understanding of the working principles of LACP and Eth-Trunk which practical hands-on operations.
- Understanding of the evolution of 2G/3G/4G networks moving convergence with IP.
- Good understanding of network Change Management process, performance & optimization through O&M and Performance Management processes.
- Understanding Network IP Planning, design and solutions with ability to keep & Maintain inventory of IP Addresses.
