Senior accountant will prepare financial reports and analysis. The position would be to oversee the company’s accounting operations. He will regulate and authenticate financial transactions and maintain the ledger to ensure effectiveness and accuracy of al l accounting tasks.
Responsabilidades
- Ensure daily reconciliation of cash and make sure there are no unapplied receipts
- Make sure stock/FAR reconciliations are performed.
- Audit & Compliance:
- Assisting with annual audit preparations
- Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non compliance
- Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements
- Taxation:
- Finalizing federal, state, local, and special tax returns and any other taxes.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable & Invoicing:
- Ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivables
- Approval of invoices in time and reconciliation of revenue .
- Process Improvement & Controls :
- Provide regular process control checks and initiate performance improvement activities
- Any other work deemed fit for structuring of tasks and goals, to achieve high productivity with efficient utilisation of equipment and labour.
- Support Functions and Systems:
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned
- Assist all staff with Oracle problems/enquiries.
- Cash Flow & Capital Expenditure:
- Collect information relating to capital expenditure payments and update regularly for cash flow projections
- Ensure accuracy of statistical information received from departments for submitting consolidated information to management.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Supervise team, ensuring the accurate completion of accounting tasks and adherence to deadlines
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the department

- Miscellaneous:
- Any other work deemed fit for structuring tasks and goals, to achieve high productivity with efficient utilization of tools and labor.
- HSSE Leadership:
- Active and visible HSSE leadership
- Active leadership and contribution to our company’s HSSE goals: zero fatalities, serious injuries, and serious spills
- Implement and comply with all HSSE procedures with internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for implementation and compliance with HSSE policy, procedures, and SOPs.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Preparing financial analyses and reports to CFO.
- Timely and accurate preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and all other accounting record
- Create reports with Oracle and compare with ZODIAC & Maximo and reconcile all invoices and receipts
- Assist CFO within expansion project management.
- Accounting Operations & Reconciliations:
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Performing the month close of the module and reconciliation on time monthly
- Ensure accuracy of accounting entries
Qualificações
- Experience in the Finance department of any multinational organization or port: 3 to 4 years
- Experience in the Finance department of any multinational organization or port: Mandatory 5 to 7 years in a managerial role
