Heading is looking for his client , a Risk Manager (M/F) for Maputo

Risk Manager 

Activities

  • -Identify, assess, and monitor operational, financial, and credit risks within the organization.
  • -Develop and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements, including Bank of Mozambique guidelines.
  • -Conduct regular risk assessments, stress testing, and scenario analysis to anticipate potential threats.
  • -Prepare risk reports and provide recommendations to senior management for mitigation strategies.
  • -Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and risk management best practices.
  • -Collaborate with other departments to integrate risk management into business processes and decision-making.
  • -Monitor and review risk indicators, identifying emerging risks and proposing corrective actions.
  • -Promote a risk-aware culture within the organization through training and guidance.

Technical Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Economics or related areas.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking sector.
  • Proficiency in operational, financial and credit risk management.
  • Knowledge of Bank of Mozambique regulations.
