Are you an experienced OCTG Inspector ready for your next assignment? Intertek Industry Services Sub Saharan Africa is launching a nationwide recruiting campaign to build a skilled team of freelance inspectors for our upcoming Oil & Gas projects in Mozambique.

If you have hands-on experience with OCTG inspections, a strong understanding of API/ISO standards, and are committed to excellence and safety in the field — we want to connect with you.

Scope of Work:

Inspection at vendors manufacturing plants of Company purchased equipment for drilling and wells: tubulars (OCTG and Conductor pipes), wellheads and Christmas trees, downhole and completion equipment, and any equipment involved in Well Integrity/Well control located worldwide;

Inspection at facilities, warehouse or yards both of the sites of Company vendors and of Company sites of Company owned equipment (Company own Stock) for drilling and wells: tubulars (OCTG and Conductor pipes), wellheads and Christmas trees, downhole and completion equipment and any equipment involved in Well Integrity/Well control, located worldwide;

Location: Mozambique -The exact location can vary according to the client needs

Type of Contract: Freelance (Short-Term / NOI-Based)

Due to the short-term and immediate mobilization nature of these assignments, applicants must be legally authorized to work and reside in Mozambique.

Education & Certifications but not limited to;

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • API Q1/Q2, DS-1, or equivalent certifications (preferred).
  • NDT certifications (UT, MT, PT, EMI) are a strong asset.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in OCTG or related inspection roles.
  • Knowledge of API standards (API 5CT, 5DP, 7-1) and DS-1 protocols.
  • Experience with inspection in a pipe yard, rig site, or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
