Heading is looking for his client , a Infrastructure Manager(M/F) for Maputo

Activities

  • The Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, securing, and maintaining the organisation’s core technology infrastructure;
  • This includes datacenter operations, cloud services, networking, servers, cybersecurity, and ensuring high availability of all critical banking systems;
  • The role requires both strong technical expertise and effective team leadership.

Technical Requirement

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related areas.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing technological infrastructures.
  • Networks (routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, VPN, SD-WAN),
  • Servers (Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP),
  • Cloud computing,
  • Cybersecurity
  • Data center management.
  • Hands-on administration of virtualisation platforms (VMware, Proxmox, Hyper- V, etc.).
  • Basic to intermediate exposure to container technologies (Docker, containerised workloads, LXC).
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams.
  • Valued certifications: Cisco, CompTIA, ITIL, Azure/AWS.

  • High problem-solving capacity, especially under pressure.
  • xcellent organization and ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Clear, objective, and assertive communication skills—both written and verbal.
