Purpose of Job
Accountable for first line leadership and management of team members in the implementation of the maintenance strategies through the work of self and team members. Build the team and develop their expertise and skills, to deliver frontline results such as Safety, Plant Reliability & Availability, Cost and Motivation, and regularly audit the team’s performance and compliance with relevant regulations, policies and work procedures.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage, motivate, develop and provide direct leadership to electrical maintenance team;
- Lead the team to achieve maximum availability of electrical equipment and machinery for productive utilization through a safe, on time and effective execution of planned maintenance plans in strict adherence to Company’s Work Management Procedure;
- Scrutinize and validate maintenance work requests in SAP, create and prioritize Work Orders, develop scopes of work, supervise the execution of work in compliance with all mandatory legal and company standard requirements, and ensure accurate recording of work and Work Orders confirmation in SAP;
- Support the Planners/Schedulers with the required data for a successful resourcing, planning and scheduling of work;
- Follow up in all outstanding electrical activities (notifications, work orders, audit actions, RCA actions, MOC actions, etc.), with clear knowledge of the issues and action plan for execution;
- Perform periodic inspections of maintained equipment so as to observe the quality of the maintenance performed and the operating condition of the equipment;
- Manage the budget and track maintenance expenditures of the section;
- Regularly check and inspect the team’s tools and equipment inventory to ensure correct use, preservation and support with replacement planning & budgeting when necessary;
- Manage team and individual performance by regularly reviewing team KPI’s and performing performance reviews on each employees as per Company policies and procedures;
- Support the team in the successful implementation of team’s career Personal Development Plans in coordination with the HRTD team;
- Required to develop strong working relationships with areas or people with direct link such as the Maintenance Area Manager, Mechanical & C&I Maintenance Supervisors, Production Supervisors, Planners/Schedulers, Spares Coordinator, Supply Chain and Stores, Process & Occupational Safety, HR Administration.
Formal Education
High School / School Diploma or similar
Occupational Trade Qualification/Certificate
Working Experience
Experience: 6+ relevant years
