Responsibilities:
- Assists were necessary troubleshooting instrumentation problems, SQC, calibrations, and quality assurance practices and protocols.
- Perform routine and non-routine analyses
- To devise and apply the methodology for dealing effectively with those special analytical problems for which no published procedures exist.
- To document and train others in research methodologies.
- To maintain a familiarity with chemical literature and an awareness of current developments in the field.
- To render statistical analyses of analytical data.
- To advise the laboratory on the properties of chemical substances, especially in regard to the hazards thereof.
- To evaluate continually the safety of laboratory working conditions
- To advise and support with integrity the laboratory and clients in those issues that require a scientist.
- To perform the functions of a Laboratory Technician when required.
- To carry out the above responsibilities, and all others, which may be assigned, in a manner demonstrating support for and adherence to the Company’s Safety Policy and Procedures, Quality Policy and Procedures, Ethics Policy, Environmental Management System, Vision and Strategy, and to exercise good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy in so doing.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry.
- Related experience and/or training.
- Demonstrate advanced learning skills.
- Valid driver license required.
