The Warehouse In-Charge / Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role involves managing warehouse staff, maintaining accurate inventory records, enforcing safety and quality standards, and coordinating with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery. The supervisor ensures that all warehouse activities comply with company policies and operational goals.
Responsabilidades
- Daily Reception/ Loading of cargo – rice to clients
- Planning the deliveries – all SOP should be followed before and after loading – verification of stock quality, credit controls and get authorization checked before loading
- Planning and timely reporting of warehouse activities based on agreed business
- Lead, train and supervise warehouse staff for effective execution of planned activities
- Promote good working environment for the entire warehouse team
- Liaise with the Logistics team for goods reception in the warehouse
- Support the development of strong warehouse management processes and system
- Execute any relevant tasks as required by the management
- Documentation control, reporting and occupational health and safety
Qualificações
- 5+ years’ experience in warehousing in Agri commodities – Food Items (Rice, Maize Edible Oil,
- Wheat, Cashew nuts, sesame, peanut, pigeon peas, etc
Habilidades e Experiência
- Has handled big warehouse volumes >3K – tons and knowledge of containers staffing protocols.
- He/she should have handled a workforce exceeding 50 people
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or any reputable field of
- study
- Proficient in English “Communication, reading and writing”
- Working knowledge of MS Office (excel and word) and other reliable ERP’s
- Self-motivated to learn and execute
- Results driven

- Team planning, execution and monitoring skills
