Tax Manager
RSM is strengthening its Tax practice and is looking to recruit a Tax Manager to play a key role in the leadership, structuring and quality uplift of the Tax function.
This is a role for a professional who combines solid technical expertise with people leadership, and who is motivated to grow into a senior leadership position within an international professional services firm.Key responsibilities
- Support the leadership of the Tax practice, with real responsibility for planning, organisation and quality of delivery.
- Lead, mentor and develop the Tax team, fostering a culture of accountability, high standards and continuous improvement.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with tax obligations, deadlines and risk management standards.
- Act as a technical reference on complex tax matters.
- Work closely with firm leadership and clients in a context of growth, increasing complexity and international standards.
- Contribute to the improvement of processes, methodologies and overall quality culture.
Profile
- University degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- 9+ years of solid experience in Tax, gained in a professional services firm, financial institution or large organisation.
- Strong sense of ownership, structure and professional rigour.
- Genuine interest in leading and developing people.
- Maturity, sound judgement and ability to perform under pressure.
- Comfortable in demanding, fast-growing environments.
