We are the game changers and multi-award-winning agency in the global staffing arena, redefining what excellence means in recruitment.Our client, world’s leading designer and builder of storage facilities, tanks and terminals, is looking to appoint a successful IR Officer in Afungi.
Responsibilities:
• Participates in the conduct of investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth. (Company Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures)
• Advise managers and supervisors about the steps in the progressive discipline system of the company. Counsels’ managers on employment issues
• Establish and maintain a Workers Forum Commit
• Assists with employee communication.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and government employment policies.
• Manage the local recruitment process of craft using the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit.
• Manage the establishment of an in-house employee training system that addresses company training needs including new hire orientation and the documentation of required plant and/or skill training. Specifically, but not limited to Medical, Site Induction, HSE Induction and HR Induction.
• Ensures annual training required is conducted and training records maintained.
• Establish and Manage all Industrial Relations requirements on the Project Site.
Qualifications:
• Diploma in HR /IR Field
• 5 years previous experience in Human Resources and Industrial Relations in Mozambique
• Excellent knowledge of Mozambican Labor laws and practices that apply in that region.
• Sound knowledge and experience in ensuring legal compliance in the recruitment scope.
