Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Healthcare Specialist based in Cidade de Maputo, Mozambique. The Healthcare Specialist will be responsible for providing medical assistance, conducting emergency medical treatments (EMT), ensuring clear communication with team members and individuals, and facilitating healthcare training sessions. The role also involves ensuring the well-being of the workforce by implementing best practices in occupational health and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Emergency Medical Treatment (EMT) and medicine-related knowledge
- Demonstrated skills in communication and the ability to facilitate effective interaction across teams
- Experience in healthcare training and education
- Strong understanding of healthcare standards and occupational health practices
- Qualifications in healthcare-related fields, such as a degree in Nursing, Medicine, or equivalent certifications
- Resilience, teamwork, and ability to work in on-site environments
- Proficiency in Portuguese and/or local languages would be an added advantage
