Job Opening: Gas Station Financial Officer – Pemba

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, and half-day on Saturday mornings.

Location:
Pemba, Mozambique

Key Responsibilities

  1. Revenue Management:
    Accurately record daily revenues and monitor outstanding customer payments to minimize financial risks.
  2. Document Handling:
    Collect and organize financial documents for billing purposes, ensuring timely submission to the company headquarters.
  3. Ticket Issuance:
    Issue tickets and invoices according to company policies and customer requirements.
  4. Account Verification:
    Review all account forms to ensure data accuracy and authenticity.
  5. Inventory Control:
    Maintain and update records of fuel and store supplies inventory, conducting regular stock checks.
  6. Expenditure Oversight:
    Manage and control the gas station’s expenditure, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
  7. Additional Duties:
    Perform other tasks as assigned by the company to support operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • A minimum of two years of financial experience in the retail industry.
  • Preferably male candidates with a valid Mozambique driver’s license and good physical health.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software applications.
