Key Responsibilities
- Regional Management:
- Execute regional mission in collaboration with customer-facing team
- Contribute to regional P&L management and achieve 90-day sales targets
- Commercial Strategy:
- Identify strategic farmer groups, cooperatives and retailers
- Co-develop annual sales and campaign plans
- Field Activities:
- Implement demand generation trials and field events
- Conduct training for Demo Attendants, VBAs and lead farmers
- Organize field days, farmer demonstrations and agricultural shows
- Agronomic Support:
- Provide direct agronomic advice to farmers and retailers
- Handle basic customer complaints and escalate complex issues
- Market Intelligence:
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends
- Identify business opportunities and volume gaps
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Agriculture (Seed Science or Crop Protection preferred)
- Experience:
- Proven experience in crop agronomy, seeds and pest management
- Strong understanding of local agricultural practices
- Skills:
- Technical expertise in diverse farming systems
- Fluency in English and local languages (Central Mozambique)
- Valid motorcycle driver’s license (Class G or higher)
