JOB INFORMATION
- Work Location: Maputo (8:00am to 5.00pm)
- Industry: Insurance
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years
- Languages: Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
- Salary: Industry standard + bonus
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Manage and monitor outstanding premiums, ensuring timely collection from clients and brokers.
- Evaluate and control credit exposure in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Reconcile broker and client accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable, aged debt, and collection performance.
- Liaise with underwriting, finance, and claims teams to resolve credit or billing issues.
- Support the continuous improvement of credit control processes and internal controls.
- Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing clients to manage financial risk effectively.
- Ensure adherence to internal and external audit requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting systems.
