Position Overview: Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant will support the efficient operation of BCP’s Maputo office. The role involves managing stock and supplies, organizing office documentation, handling utility and service coordination, and supporting compliance and HR procedures.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and ensure smooth day-to-day administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Control: Monitor and manage office supplies and inventory; coordinate timely replenishments.
- Document Management: Organize and maintain office records; ensure compliance documents are up-to-date, including support with HR procedures.
- Utility Management: Oversee office utilities (e.g., electricity, water); ensure payments are processed on time and records are maintained.
- Service Coordination: Schedule and supervise services such as cleaning and gardening.
- Visitor Management: Implement visitor sign-in procedures and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Procurement and Office Support: Visit suppliers, collect goods and quotations, and support delivery and logistics processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Degree or equivalent in Administration, Human Resources, Business Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar administrative role. Experience in stock control and utility management is an advantage.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication in both Portuguese and English
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently
