Responsibilities:
- Supports team in including Local Content requirements in contracting strategies, Company plans, Contractor Local Content Plans, Implementation Plans and other Project execution plans.
- Monitor and track local content performance indicators and prepare regular reports.
- Collaborate with procurement, contracts, and other internal teams to ensure local content strategies are met.
- Maintain databases of local content reporting requirements for local suppliers, workforce statistics, and training initiatives.
- Participate in community engagement activities and support capacity-building programs.
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits, inspections, and government, company, and lender submissions.
- Stay informed on local content legislation, trends, and best practices.
- Supports the reporting for Local Content, including Government reporting and presentations; oversight and QA/QC of Contractor reporting; presentations and written reports.
- Engage with Contractors on Local Content matters, monitor contract requirements status, gather information, or other as needed.
- Supports the development and the implementation of Local Content strategies and programs to monitor commitments.
- Work with company internal and external stakeholders to promote and monitor Local Content initiatives.
- Support process of ensuring that internal and external stakeholder communications, reporting and deliverables are completed, reviewed and endorsed within required timelines.
- Supports leadership with research and material to inform engagements.
- Schedule timely and appropriate meetings to resolve reporting data issues and close any identified gaps.
- Support Local Content team, as needed to ensure execution of Local Content tasks for the three pillars of Supplier Development, Workforce Development and Strategic Community Investment.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Law, Economics, Development, Socioeconomic, Commercial, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience.
- Familiarity with local content regulations and development frameworks is an asset.
- Good appreciation of government systems.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent multi linguistic (English and Portuguese) verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; persuasive with strong analytical perspective.
- Adaptable to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
