COMMERCIAL ADVISOR is required by our Client, an Oil and Gas Operator, to be assigned on resident basis in Mozambique.
Principal Responsibilities
- To provide support on the management of the commercial structure/contractual framework of the LNG Project, as well as help manage and promote the observance of all obligations arising therefrom , as negotiated and agreed with the Government of Mozambique.
Experience / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Business or Law (however not a practicing attorney), Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
- 10 or more years business experience preferably in Oil and Gas, Energy or Heavy industry.
- Business experience in African Countries, preferably In Mozambique
- Preferred business experience includes:
- Regular interaction with governmental agencies
- Commercial/negotiating experience
- Mining or forestry or energy (power, oil & gas, pipeline) – commercial/business related or operations management
- Business leadership/management or entrepreneurial business experience
- Fluent in both Portuguese and English
