Our client in Tete is looking for Fleet Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the FMCG Sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fleet management policies, procedures, and strategies.
- Oversee vehicle procurement, registration, licensing, insurance, and disposal.
- Supervise drivers and fleet staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Develop and monitor key fleet performance indicators (KPIs) such as utilization, downtime, and cost per km.
- Manage contracts and relationships with service providers, garages, and insurance companies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet or transport management.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, logistics operations, and transport legislation.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
