Our client in Tete is looking for Head of Procurement to join their team for a job vacancy within the FMCG Sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead and manage the procurement team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
- Oversee the sourcing, evaluation, and selection of suppliers/vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements to achieve cost savings and value for money.
- Establish and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Monitor market trends, competitor practices, and supplier performance to identify opportunities and risks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, stakeholders, and internal departments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement/supply chain, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP and procurement software systems.
