About the Role
Join a multinational LNG joint venture as an Area Manager to oversee EPC Contractor ISBL works for LNG Train 1 & 2. Lead a team of up to 20 on-site personnel, ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Project Leadership:
- Support the Project Manager in site-wide coordination and emergency management.
- Monitor ISBL Area #1 construction, ensuring compliance with project specs and safety standards.
✔ Stakeholder & Contractor Management:
- Build strong relationships with EPC Contractors for smooth operations and issue resolution.
- Review execution plans, method statements, and procedures.
✔ On-Site Oversight:
- Maintain a physical presence to enforce safety, quality, and progress.
- Identify risks, propose mitigations, and drive technical/organizational solutions.
✔ Planning & Transition:
- Lead construction planning meetings and track issue resolution.
- Prepare for precommissioning and handover to commissioning teams.
✔ Compliance & Best Practices:
- Ensure adherence to HSE standards and project procedures.
- Participate in peer reviews and technical assurance audits.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
- LNG project experience (liquefaction, greenfield preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and Construction Programme Management.
- Proficiency in HSE standards and safety leadership.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influence.
- Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and problem-solving.
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering (advanced degree/professional certs a plus).
- 15+ years’ experience, including 5+ years in management.
- 5+ years on large greenfield projects (LNG, petrochemical, or energy sectors).
