Job Description
Mission
Coordinate logistics operations to ensure safe, timely, and compliant mobilization/demobilization of project equipment and materials. Act as the primary liaison between vessels, authorities, subcontractors, and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Customs & Compliance:
- Manage customs clearance, permits, and immigration formalities for vessels and personnel.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations and tax requirements.
- Supply Chain Coordination:
- Oversee material handling, storage, and delivery to offshore vessels.
- Maintain inventory records and traceability of all project materials.
- Fleet & Subcontractor Management:
- Supervise marine agency services, waste disposal, and crew changes.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and service invoicing.
- HSE & Quality:
- Ensure materials meet offshore certification standards.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for proper goods tracking and documentation.
Requirements
- Experience:
- Proven track record in logistics coordination, preferably in offshore/oil & gas projects.
- Familiarity with customs procedures and marine operations.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain software.
- Excellent communication in English (Portuguese is a plus).
- HSE Awareness:
- Commitment to safety and environmental guidelines.
