Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analysis to support the development of the local country strategy.
- Investigate, identify, and secure business opportunities to drive new business growth for Sanlam Vida Mozambique across the following markets under the Digital Growth Segment Strategy:
- Startups
- Micro Enterprises
- Small Enterprises
- Medium Enterprises
- Tontines
- Religious Sector
- Women’s Market
- Youth Market
- Microfinance Institutions
- The primary responsibility of this role is to achieve sales targets.
- Meet or exceed locally agreed sales budgets for:
- Policy count
- Gross Written Premiums
- Annual Premium Income
- Value of New Business
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Innovation, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s is a plus);
- 1–3 years of experience in innovation, strategy, growth, or product support roles;
- Proficiency in:
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Business Model Canvas
- Ability to conduct market research, perform competitor analysis, and identify emerging trends;
- Comfortable working with data, dashboards, KPIs, and drawing actionable insights;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Interest in design thinking, experimentation, and iterative innovation.
