Job Opportunity: HR & Administration Manager (Based in Nacala)

Union Energy is seeking an experienced HR & Administration Manager to join our team in Nacala. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing all human resources and administrative functions within our logistics operations, including the management of foreign employee documentation. Experience in the logistics sector is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and offboarding;
- Manage payroll, employee attendance, leave tracking, and benefits administration;
- Handle visa applications, work permits, and residence permits for foreign employees;
- Develop and implement HR policies and ensure compliance with local labour laws and company standards;
- Facilitate effective communication between the Nacala office and the head office;
- Address employee relations issues and manage disciplinary procedures when necessary;
- Supervise administrative functions, including office management, procurement, and logistics support;
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, company policies, and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR and administration roles within the transportation or logistics industry;
- Proven experience with the management of foreign employee documentation (visas, work permits);
- Fluent in English (working language);
- Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to manage confidential information and perform under pressure;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR management tools.
