Position Overview
We are looking for dedicated and motivated Assistant to join our Sponsorship Service Division (SSD) in Maputo. The selected candidates will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing sponsorship activities, ensuring effective communication between sponsors and beneficiaries, and supporting the overall mission of GNMOZ in these communities.

Job Title: Assistant for Child Sponsorship Department
Job Site: Maputo
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for Child Sponsorship Program
- Operating Child Management System (CIF, APR, ACL, GML, Drop-out)
- Monitoring sponsored child (Home visiting, Interviewing, Counseling, Delivering GML)
- Supporting Project operation
- Responsible for qualified tasks instructed by the employer
Required Qualifications
Education:
- High School degree
- Relevant experience in Social Work, Education, Child Development, Community Development, Public Health.
Experience:
- Preferred: Experience in child sponsorship programs or community development projects
- Beneficial: Experience working with children and families in social services or community development
- Beneficial: Experience with databases or child management systems
Other Considerations:
- Mandatory: Strong alignment with the mission and values of Good Neighbors Mozambique
- Comprehensive understanding of safeguarding principles
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies
- Proven ability to manage large datasets with a high degree of accuracy
- Commitment to child protection and safeguarding principle
Languages
Proficiency in Portuguese and English
