JOB INFORMATION

  • Work Location: Matola
  • Industry: Food Industry
  • Education: Culinary course or high school diploma
  • Experience: 3-5 year’s experience as a Pizza Chef
  • Languages: Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken)
  • Salary: Industry standard + bonus

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Assemble and cook a variety of pizzas using traditional and modern methods;
  • Prepare and hand-stretch pizza dough with consistency in size and thickness;
  • Operate pizza ovens and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently;
  • Ensure pizzas are visually appealing and meet quality standards;
  • Manage time and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment;
  • Communicate effectively and work closely with the kitchen team;
  • Develop and test new pizza recipes using creative combinations of ingredients;
  • Monitor the freshness and quality of all ingredients used;
  • Follow portion control guidelines and help minimize food waste;
  • Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
