Aviation supervisor (m/f) – 01 vacancy

Our Client is a prestigious company operating in the oil & gas sector. It intends to recruit:

FUNCTION

Reporting to the Aviation Manager, the Aviation Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of aviation activities at site level. The role includes ensuring that all aviation operations are executed in line with Company standards, Mozambican legislation, and international aviation regulations; the incumbent will oversee flight operations planning and execution, including daily flight programmes, booking consolidation, passenger and cargo manifesting, and coordination of check-in processes with air operators and ground services; the role also involves monitoring aircraft utilisation, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements, promoting a strong safety culture, and reporting any operational deviations or unsafe conditions; the Aviation Supervisor will act as the primary focal point for aviation systems (e.g. Da Vinci), maintain KPIs databases, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of aviation activities; additionally, the position requires contributing to the development and improvement of operational procedures, monitoring certifications and licences of aviation personnel, and ensuring optimal coordination between contractors, airport services, and internal stakeholders.

Requisitos

  • Degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field will be an advantage;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas Upstream operations and/or aviation activities;
  • Knowledge of aviation standards (IOGP, ICAO, EASA) and aviation management systems (e.g. IQSMS);
  • Advanced user of MS Office;
  • Experience with aviation operational systems (e.g. Da Vinci) will be an advantage;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Portuguese will be an advantage;
  • Strong organisational and planning skills and high level of rigour and attention to detail;
  • Ability to anticipate operational needs and strong coordination and stakeholder management skills;
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and strong commitment to safety and compliance;
  • Experience working with air operators and airport services;
  • Ability to develop procedures, manuals, and operational studies;
  • Mozambican nationality.
