Assist and support overall management, direction and coordination of site activities, operations, logistics at Komatipoort inland container depo t. Supporting the Client’s strategic objectives, namely the promotion and expansion of cargo volumes through the DP World Maputo transit corridor, both via road and rail.
Responsabilidades
- Active and visible HSSE leadership
- Active leadership and contribution for the company HSSE goals: zero fatalities, serious injuries and serious spills.
- Other:
- Always act as an ambassador for for the brand when working, promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with company’s Principles, values and culture
- Ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities
- Understanding and following company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
- Management of Komatipoort depot, including operations, office and staff
- Coordinate operating activities between Komatipoort depot, trucking and Maputo Port
- Control of deport targets and objectives to ensure achievement
- Support the customer service delivery
- Coordinate and lead the interactions with Customs, SAPS and Borders Police
- Maintain relationships with existing key customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and maximize business potential
- Liaise regularly with Shippers/ Consignees/ Suppliers/ Customs Authorities, ensuring all processes are updated & in order
- Responsible for the warehouse management
- Responsible for the depot operational execution by offering the best possible Supply Chain solution that suits our customer’s requirements
- Execute activities and provide services according to the contracts defined
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the successful delivery of products or services to clients
- Manage budgets, analyse financial and people performance to provide the correct inputs for decision making
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products or services, effectively communicating their value proposition to clients
- Contribute to operational efficiencies and standards and continuously strive to identify and in collaboration with Commercial Lead, implement improvement initiatives
- Management of the cold store : temperature monitor & control, inventory management, workflow, compliance, safety, receiving & shipping, Contingencies plan
- Management of the facilities maintenance
- Coordinate citrus and another cargo packing, unpacking, warehousing , storage and transportation.
- HSSE:
Qualificações
- Experience in Operations and Management in warehouses, container terminal and citrus operations: 3 to 5 years
- Experience of working with citrus packing, unpacking , warehousing and transportation.
