Heading is looking for, a Infrastructure Officer (M/F) for Maputo.

Infrastructure Officer

  • The Infrastructure Officer will provide operational support for the organisation’s technology infrastructure, assisting in the maintenance of networks, servers, cloud services, and security systems.
  • The role requires technical competency, attention to detail, and the ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced and critical environment.

Technical Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related areas.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in infrastructure support.
  • Networking: basic routing, switching, VLANs, and firewalls.
  • Hardware: servers, workstations, storage devices, and peripherals.
  • Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux, desktop OS support.
  • Security: basic security practices, patch management, endpoint protection.
  • Basic familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Ability to assist in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IT systems.

Soft Skills

  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to standards.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fast learning ability and willingness to adapt to new technologies.
