Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Heavy Duty Mechanic located in Tete Province, Mozambique. The Heavy Duty Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty equipment and vehicles to ensure safety and optimal performance. Duties include conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing preventative maintenance. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and collaboration with other team members to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Equipment Repair
• Extensive experience with Heavy Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance
• Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and address mechanical issues effectively
• Knowledge of safety procedures and standards in an industrial or construction environment
• Ability to work hands-on in demanding environments and lift heavy equipment when necessary
• Technical certification or diploma in mechanics or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role, especially in heavy-duty or construction equipment, is advantageous
