Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Technology Support Specialist, based in Maputo. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining desktop computers, and delivering help desk support to end-users. The role requires day-to-day interaction with both hardware and software components to identify and resolve problems, ensuring smooth IT operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Technical Support and Help Desk Support to assist end-users effectively
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues promptly
- Experience working with Desktop Computers, including installation, maintenance, and upgrades
- Knowledge of Information Technology concepts and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for providing effective user support and training
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and manage tasks independently
- Familiarity with networking and system administration is a plus
- A degree or certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
