At Eni, we are looking for an HR Operations Advisor within Eni Rovuma Basin in Maputo, Mozambique. You will be responsible for ensuring that all HR administrative tasks are properly carried out in line with the company’s policies and procedures.

Eni Rovuma Basin B.V. is a key player in the development and production of natural gas in the Rovuma Basin, offshore Mozambique. The company is involved in the Coral South project, which is transforming vast gas resources into liquefied natural gas (LNG) for global markets. This project is pivotal in positioning Mozambique as a significant energy producer and exporter. Main Responsibilities
- Maintain employee records in both soft and hard copy formats.
- Update the HR database (new hires, holidays, sick leave, individual files, etc.).
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, such as absences and bonuses.
- Process employee requests and provide relevant information.
- Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and seminars.
- Keep track of all HR processes.
- Ensure all employee personal files are up to date.
- Manage HR correspondence with other departments.
- Assist in maintaining records of employee training.
- Administer all physical HR folders.
- Prepare letters to relevant government institutions, such as requests for clearance certificates from the Revenue Authority and Social Security.
- Draft employment contracts (local and expatriate).
- Ensure full compliance with national HSE laws and company policies, maintain safe working conditions, enforce HSE standards among staff and contractors, and provide adequate training to achieve HSE objectives.
- Degree in Law, Human Resources, Administration or a related field – desirable.
- Relevant experience in similar roles.
- Proficiency in Portuguese. English proficiency desirable.
- HSE related training as required.
