At Eni, we are looking for a Commercial Project Manager within Eni Rovuma Basin in Maputo, Mozambique. You will contribute to the evaluation of new business opportunities and the implementation of negotiation activities for Eni subsidiaries in Mozambique.

Eni Rovuma Basin B.V. is a key player in the development and production of natural gas in the Rovuma Basin, offshore Mozambique. The company is involved in the Coral South project, which is transforming vast gas resources into liquefied natural gas (LNG) for global markets. Main Responsibilities
- Conduct research and draft proposals for new initiatives to support the development of the energy business of Eni subsidiaries in Mozambique.
- Lead or contribute to negotiation activities for Eni subsidiaries in Mozambique, ensuring proper coordination within Eni cross-functional working groups.
- Coordinate, in conjunction with the Legal function, the preparation of proposals and the drafting of commercial agreements.
- Collect information on contractual terms, laws, regulations and new block bidding processes; monitor the evolution of the domestic gas and power sectors, as well as competitors’ activities in the oil and gas business in Mozambique.
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with government stakeholders, other counterparts in the negotiation process, and joint venture partners to facilitate the definition and achievement of commercial goals.
- Recommend and interpret policies, legislation and standards related to the oil and gas business, and engage external expertise when needed. Provide interpretation of the existing contractual framework.
- Liaise with Eni’s Commercial Negotiations department (INEG) and other corporate departments; prepare periodic reports and produce specific analyses on any matter of major interest in collaboration with other competent departments.
- Ensure compliance of the negotiation process with Eni internal procedures and maintain up-to-date records and archives.
- A university degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Commercial Law, International Relations, Economics, etc.).
- Significant experience in a similar commercial role within the energy sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business management tools.
- Strong communication skills, with experience in negotiations.
- Strong team spirit, ability to work under pressure, and a problem-solving attitude.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English.
